I often find myself with a workload that is comprised of roughly 80% corporate event photography. From formal speeches to happy hour get-togethers, there is one thing I always make sure to do: capture the five “must-take” shots of every event. Chief among these is the main speaker, and to make sure I get the best shot possible, I take multiple angles. If there is more than one speaker, I repeat the same procedure.

We make sure to get a great shot of the main speaker – they’re the star of the show! If there are multiple speakers, we make sure to capture each one from a variety of angles to give a unique perspective. When it comes to attendees, we take some candid shots – act like a fly on the wall and take photos of small groups, even if we can only see part of the people in the shot.
